Hakim Ziyech finally has new interest after returning to Chelsea team | OneFootball

Hakim Ziyech played well yesterday, but the moves Chelsea have made in recent weeks – plus the rumours of a whole year before that – have made it clear that he’s not going to be around long term.

When Mykhailo Mudryk, Raheem Sterling, Christian Pulisic and Noni Madueke are all fit and integrated it will be harder than ever for Ziyech to get into the team. The problem so far has been a lack of interest, with only AC Milan regularly linked with the Moroccan – and clearly unable to offer a fee we want.

The good news is that as January passes, more teams are being linked. Gianluca di Marzio today adds Roma to the list of interested sides, and we can see that working.

Jose Mourinho loves a player with personality, and a player who sometimes plays within themselves but has more to give – and Ziyech could be the perfect project for him as he looks to add some creativity to his Roma team.
