Erling Braut Haaland has started the 2021/22 season in ridiculous fashion.
The 21-year-old striker scored yet another brace in Borussia Dortmund's 4-2 win over Union Berlin last Sunday, taking his goal contribution tally for the campaign to 10.
In his five Bundesliga appearances, Haaland has scored seven goals and produced three assists, a record befitting of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi in their primes.
The only player in Europe's top five leagues to have a better record in 2021/22 is Real Madrid's Karim Benzema, who has six goals and five assists to his name after the team's recent 2-1 victory away at Valencia.
But despite being slightly more prolific, Benzema is still a considerable way behind Haaland in the current WhoScored player rating standings.
Real Madrid's French goal machine sits in second-place, however, his muscular value of 8.37 is nothing compared to the Dortmund man's.
Take a look at the top 30 highest-rated players in Europe's top five leagues so far this season here...
(Remember, only footballers who have featured in three or more games make the cut on WhoScored, so both Ronaldo and Messi miss out.)

Erling, you're an absolute baller.
Now, there's one player rating in particular we feel is necessary to highlight and that's the one possessed by Traore.
The Wolves man is sitting pretty in sixth-place, despite the fact the Spaniard is yet to make a single goal contribution in the Premier League this season.
He's the only man in the top 30 with that record and that includes the significant number of defenders on the list.
To say Traore is a unique footballer would be a serious understatement...
