Fortunately for David Wagner and his team, they have a chance to get back to winning ways when Middlesbrough come to Carrow Road on Tuesday evening.

Goalkeeper Angus Gunn will miss out with a thigh injury sustained against Leeds as will long term absentees strike pair Josh Sargent and Ashley Barnes.

Here we reveal our predicted Norwich City line-up for the game against Middlesbrough:

GK: George Long

The ex-Millwall goalkeeper was thrown into the action during the game against Leeds United when Angus Gunn went off with a muscular injury in the 30th minute.

Gunn was able to carry on for a couple of minutes following the injury, but wasn't able to carry on. Wagner confirmed in his pre match press conference via the Pink Un that Gunn would be having a scan on his injury and would not be involved.

Wagner said: "He (Gunn) will have a scan at 1:30pm, so I have no further news. We are sure he will not play (v Middlesbrough)".

LB: Dimitris Giannoulis

Following a surprise omission from the starting line up for the game away at Coventry City, Giannoulis started against Leeds.

The Greek international played well and will be hopeful of starting against Middlesbrough.

CB: Ben Gibson

Gibson has played 98 percent of all available minutes for Norwich this season in the Championship and will be hoping for more against his hometown club.

The central defender is the nephew of Middlesbrough's owner Steve.

CB: Shane Duffy

The Irishman scored his first goal for Norwich against Leeds but voiced his frustration at the goals conceded against the Whites.

One of only three players to have played every single minute in the Championship for David Wagner's men this season, Duffy knows more than most, that the team has to improve defensively.

RB: Jack Stacey

Another of Norwich's ever present players, the full back has played every single minute in the Championship this season.

His forward runs into attacking areas are a big feature of the way David Wagner likes to set the team up.

CM: Kenny McLean

The Scotland international has played every single minute of Norwich's league campaign this season and is forming a great partnership with Gabriel Sara in the middle of the Canaries midfield.

CM: Gabriel Sara

By far and away Norwich's best player this season, the Brazilian scored a wonderful goal against Leeds United last time out to further improve his reputation as one of the Championship's leading lights.

LW: Jonathan Rowe

The 20-year-old continues to shine for Norwich City and did so against Leeds last time out.

The exciting left-winger gets the fans off their seats and creates chances and goals galore while playing in Yellow and Green. Despite dangerous forward runs, Rowe wasn't involved of either of Norwich's goals against Leeds and will be looking to rectify that against Boro.

CAM: Liam Gibbs

A feature of the way David Wagner sets Norwich up is either playing two strikers or having someone play slightly deeper.

Because of the injuries to Sargent and Barnes, Bury St Edmunds born Gibbs has taken up the role instead. Until Barnes returns against Cardiff, Gibbs looks set to play a prominent part in the team.

RW: Onel Hernandez

The popular Cuban returned to the starting line up against Leeds and played well helping the team with good attacking play.

Other wide midfield options including Borja Sainz, Christian Fassnacht and Przemysław Płacheta are available, but Hernandez looks set to keep his place following a good outing against Leeds.

It was particularly noticeable how Norwich's performance dropped off when Hernandez was substituted off such was the energy and desire shown by Norwich's number 25.

ST: Adam Idah

An ever present due to the injuries to Sargent and Barnes, the Irish international will again lead the line against Middlesbrough.
