HLN are reporting that Anderlecht midfielder Amadou Diawara is set to join La Liga side Cadiz on loan. There will also be a purchase option that has to be taken up if the side are able to avoid relegation at the end of the season. Diawara is currently at the AFCON in Cote d’Ivoire, with his Guinea side through to the Quarter-Finals. They will face the DRC on Friday evening for a chance to make the semi-finals.

Since joining Anderlecht in the summer of 2022, the 26-year-old has struggled to nail down a regular starting spot in the side. Of his 11 games this season, only six have been starts. Overall he has made 47 appearances for the Mauves, scoring one goal. Diawara began his career with San Marino Calcio, where he played 14 games before joining Bologna.
