Greenwood injured in England defeat in Belgium | OneFootball

Alex Greenwood was substituted in the first half of England's 3-2 defeat against Belgium in Leuven.

Play was stopped for more than 10 minutes after Greenwood was involved in a nasty clash of heads with Belgian striker Jassina Blom.

Our defender was eventually stretchered off the pitch in the 31st minute. A further update on her fitness will be provided in due course.

Elsewhere, Sandy MacIver made her Scotland debut in goal in their 1-0 defeat to Netherlands at Hampden Park.

Kerstin Casparij and Jill Roord both played from start to finish for Netherlands in a game won by Esmee Brugts' 60th minute finish.

Those results leave Netherlands at the top of Group One on nine points.

Belgium are second on seven points and England are in third with six points from four games.

Filippa Angeldahl played the full match as Sweden drew 1-1 with Italy at the Eleda Stadion in Malmo.

Sweden went behind after Valentina Giacinti's 57th minute opener but our midfielder set up Linda Sembrant in the 96th minute for a last gasp equaliser.

That result leaves Sweden second in Group Four, second only to world champions Spain, who have a perfect 100% record after four games.
