Gonzalo Higuaín has announced his retirement from professional football.
The 34-year-old confirmed in a press conference on Monday that he has decided to hang up his boots confirming that ‘the day has arrived to say goodbye to football.’
The Argentine, who now plays for Inter Miami, will officially leave the sport following the conclusion to the 2022 MLS season.
