There is once again a climate of protest surrounding AC Milan at present, and the AIMC have published a statement.
After the Curva Sud protested in front of Casa Milan and Milanello on Friday, while putting out a statement criticising the ownership and management, the Italian Milan Club Association (AIMC) joined in with their own post.
Specifically, the association’s message is directed to all of Milan, from the ownership down to the management but also the squad and the head coach. They published a statement on their Instagram, translated below.
“Don’t ask why, there’s little to explain: game over! Ownership, club and team have turned off our beloved colours and today the stadium will be proof of that… The reason is obvious and known to all, give the team back its dignity and give us back our red and black pride!”
The displeasure is certainly understandable given what has been a very negative season so far barring the Supercoppa Italiana win, and now the team must respond on the field.
