Liverpool forward Takumi Minamino was very impressive against Norwich City at Carrow Road last night.
The 26-year-old scored two goals against the Canaries. Minamino also registered a WhoScored player rating of 8.72 against Norwich City.
Liverpool won the aforementioned third round League Cup clash 3-0.
As you can see below, some Liverpool supporters took to Twitter after the match to praise the Japan international for his performance against the Canaries.

ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT
Liverpool signed Minamino from RB Salzburg for a transfer fee of €8.50 million back in the 2020 January transfer window.
However, the forward has not been given much of an opportunity at Anfield. Minamino has only made 32 appearances for Liverpool’s first-team.
The Japan international was even loaned out to Southampton for second half of the 2020-21 campaign.
We saw last night that Minamino is more than good enough to play for the Reds. The 26-year-old simply needs to be given more of an opportunity.
Therefore, like the aforementioned Liverpool supporters, we do hope to see more of Minamino throughout the 2021-22 campaign.
