Roma defender Gianluca Mancini praised his team’s effort in last night’s win over Milan at San Siro and revealed the keys to such a convincing performance.

In his post-match interview with Roma TV, Mancini commented, “I never dreamed of such a week – a goal in the derby and at San Siro with Milan – mostly because I like to live in the present moment.”

“I am very happy with our results this week,” he added.

“We came here tonight focused and humble but aware of our ideas. I had lots of fun tonight – I watched as the best players on my team like Dybala, Lukaku and Pellegrini chased the opponent all over the pitch and tackled without fear or hesitation. It was wonderful to see.”

“We must remain with our feet on the ground and our heads held high. If you work well, you have the awareness that you can do well in any situation and the results will come.”

“With negative results it is more difficult. Now we need to be fully concentrated because there is an important match on Sunday against Udinese.”
