After 18-year-old forward Noha Lemina was loaned out to second-tier side Sampdoria, Paris Saint-Germain are set to complete a deal with the Ligurians’ local rivals in Genoa, this time for a permanent transfer.

According to Fabrizio Romano this afternoon, an agreement has been reached between the Ligue 1 champions and the recently-promoted Serie A side over the permanent sale of full-back Timothée Pembélé.

It will now be up to the French international whether the move – which would include a sell-on clause – goes through. The 20-year-old, who has been training separately from the first team alongside the rest of the transfer-listed players, also has an offer on the table from Eintracht Frankfurt, as revealed by Le Parisien.

Several French clubs are also interested in Pembélé, whose deal in the capital expires at the end of the campaign. Since making his debut in the 2020/21 season, he has made 15 senior appearances with his formative club, and went out on loan to Bordeaux in 2021/22 – an ill-fated spell that would see Les Girondins finish rock bottom of the top flight.
