GdS: Vitinha’s arrival at PSG could scupper their move for Milan target Sanches
SempreMilan
The arrival of Vitinha at Paris Saint Germain has lowered the chances of the French side signing AC Milan target Renato Sanches, a report claims.
As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Milan News) today, the French champions have not managed to close the deal with Lille for Sanches yet and there is a rumoured reason as to why.
PSG recently confirmed the signing of Portuguese midfielder Vitinha from FC Porto. He has very similar characteristics to Sanches and the club are now beginning to wonder if they really need both Portuguese midfielders next season.
That could open the door to Milan who have been pursuing Sanches for months. The move did not materialise along with Sven Botman’s proposed move because the Rossoneri were focused on the contract renewals of Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara.
Botman has since joined Newcastle United but Sanches could still be a Milan player next season.
