AC Milan and Lecce have already made a decision on the future of striker Lorenzo Colombo as he continues to impress on loan, a report claims.

Milan decided to send Colombo out on another loan, this time Lecce after a season in Serie B with SPAL. The 20-year-old has three goals in Serie A so far this season against Napoli, Udinese and Sampdoria, plus one in the Coppa Italia against Cittadella.

According to reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), Lecce have already decided to buy Colombo once his loan deal expires as there is a clause in the agreement that allows them to do so for €2.5m.

However, that should merely trigger a formality because Milan will be able to exercise their buy-back options which has already been agreed at €3.5m. It essentially functions as a way for Lecce to earn a development fee from a useful loan spell.
