Sergio Conceicao has been named as the new head coach of AC Milan, and naturally there has been some speculation about how he will line the team up.

As La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below) reports, Conceicao will have the task of trying to build on what Paulo Fonseca achieved – such as an improved defence in recent games – while also raising the level.

For the game against Juventus on Sunday which will be his debut, there are some injuries to consider. The paper believe he will use a 4-4-2, with Alvaro Morata and Tammy Abraham leading the line.

Alex Jimenez and Christian Pulisic (currently a doubt) are down as the wingers, with Youssouf Fofana and Tijjani Reijnders in midfield Emerson Royal, Matteo Gabbia, Malick Thiaw and Theo Hernandez should be the back four.

Predicted Supercoppa XI (4-4-2): Maignan; Emerson Royal, Gabbia, Thiaw, Theo; Pulisic, Fofana, Reijnders; Jimenez; Morata, Abraham.

Regarding the team that he will play when everyone is fit, La Gazzetta foresee the same back four but with a midfield three that includes Ruben Loftus-Cheek and a front three with Rafael Leao and Pulisic either side of Morata.

Predicted typical XI (4-3-3): Maignan; Emerson Royal, Gabbia, Thiaw, Theo; Loftus-Cheek, Fofana, Reijnders; Pulisic, Morata, Leao.
