Barcelona welcomed Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium earlier today as they focused on collecting maximum points in the Clasico. Xavi’s men made a great start to the contest as they grabbed the lead in the sixth-minute thanks to Ilkay Gundogan’s effort. Barca went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.
Jude Bellingham equalised for the visitors in the 68th minute before going on to score again in injury-time. The match finished with Barcelona suffering a lackluster 2-1 loss at home.

GK: Marc-Andre ter Stegen – 6/10
The German keeper made two good saves at the back but won’t be pleased after allowing two goals in the second half.
RB: Ronald Araujo – 6/10
He was far from convincing when defending inside his half.
CB: Andreas Christensen – 6.5/10
Christensen got stuck in with some solid tackles but struggled to keep Jude Bellingham quiet.
The Spaniard made a lot of important clearances on the defensive end of the pitch.

LB: Alejandro Balde – 6/10
Balde struggled to get into the rhythm of the game.
CM: Ilkay Gundogan – 7/10
The German sensation managed to get his name on the scoresheet early in the game. However, he was mostly quiet in the second half.
CM: Gavi – 7/10
He came back to defend when required and managed to engineer two promising chances in the final third.
CM: Fermin Lopez – 6.5/10
Lopez had a few bright moments in the game but there was no goal for him today.
RW: Joao Cancelo – 6/10
Cancelo looked vulnerable at the back but managed to catch the eye at times in the Real Madrid half.
ST: Ferran Torres – 6/10
He was mostly ineffective during his time on the field.
LW: Joao Felix – 7/10
Felix made two dangerous runs with the ball.

ST: Robert Lewandowski – 6/10
He failed to register a goal.
CM: Oriol Romeu – 6/10
Romeu added some energy to Xavi’s midfield.
LW: Lamine Yamal – 6/10
He made one good chance in the final third.

Raphinha was a positive influence as a substitute.
