Newly-appointed Sevilla head coach García Pimienta is eager to reunite with a pair of Las Palmas stars in Andalusia.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, citing Canarias7, who point towards Kirian and Saúl Coco as the players in question.

Both Kirian and Coco are fresh off stellar campaigns under the watch of Pimienta in Gran Canaria.

The former stood out as one of La Liga’s finest midfielders, with stopper Coco having played an integral role at the heart of Las Palmas’ backline.

Los Amarillos, though, could be facing up to something of a fight, in hopes of keeping hold of the pair through the summer into next season.

As per the aforementioned MD, after tying down their new manager, attentions at Sevilla will now swiftly turn towards squad remodelling.

And, evidently of the opinion that both the Nervionenses’ defence and midfield are in need of fresh blood, Pimienta has pushed the names of Kirian and Coco to the brass at The Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán.

A deal for Coco is viewed as a legitimate possibility, taking into account the fact that just 12 months remain on the 25-year-old’s contract.

Finding an agreement for Kirian, however, would likely prove altogether more challenging, with the midfield standout locked into a deal through 2028, featuring a release clause set at €30 million.
