Manchester City have completed the signing of Tijjani Reijnders from AC Milan, taking their total number of new additions ahead of the 2025/26 campaign to four.
The market got underway officially for Hugo Viana with the arrival of a new left-sided full-back, as Rayan Ait-Nouri completed a £31 million switch from Wolverhampton Wanderers earlier this week.
The Algerian was then followed through the doors by Chelsea’s back-up goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli, arriving at Manchester City for a nominal fee and taking the place of the outgoing Scott Carson as the club’s new third-choice shot-stopper.
Rayan Cherki would then become signing number three as the Frenchman was unveiled to Manchester City fans just moments before the official close of the initial summer transfer window on Tuesday evening.
And Tijjani Reijnders would round off proceedings before the start of the FIFA Club World Cup with his signing officially presented to fans on Wednesday morning, despite the deal being completed over the course of the last weekend.
Accompanying the Dutchman’s arrival was the usual media duties including photoshoots both individually and alongside director of football Hugo Viana, as well as an exclusive interview with the club’s in-house media team, and a unique unveiling video for social media.
Here is a behind-the-scenes look at the 26-year-old’s first day as a Manchester City player!
