Galatasaray hold talks to sign Aston Villa duo | OneFootball

Foot Mercato understands that Galatasaray and Aston Villa have held talks regarding three different players.

As per the publication, talks between the Premier League side, who next season will compete in the UEFA Europa League, and Galatasaray are in talks over moves for France international Lucas Digne (31) and Emiliano Martínez (32). The latter is strongly linked with a departure and has been linked with Barcelona and Manchester United, most notably.

However, it is Turkish giants Galatasaray who are now showing concrete interest. They are willing to offer a combined sum of €26-27m for the Aston Villa duo. Digne has also been linked with Atletico Madrid and could also leave Villa Park this summer.

At the same time, the Premier League side are in talks to bring in a midfielder from Galatasaray. Gabriel Sara (25) is a target for the club. The Brazilian is valued at €20m. The clubs are not discussing a player trade deal. The deal is separate from talks over Martínez and Digne.
