Furious Milan star striker Alvaro Morata says he’ll be forced to change his home after the Mayor of Corbetta ‘violated’ his privacy by revealing that the Spanish striker would move to the little town on the outskirts of Milan.

New Milan striker Morata will be forced to change his home after Marco Ballarini, the Mayor of Corbetta, revealed that the Spanish forward would move into town.

Corbetta is a small village on the outskirts of Milan with barely 18,000 residents, and Ballarini revealed in an awkward Instagram statement on Wednesday that Morata would move there.

The post was written in the same style as Fabrizio Romano’s transfer news. It claimed that Morata had signed documents to move into a new “marvellous” home in Corbetta.

It’s safe to say that the Spanish forward was not impressed. The 31-year-old, in fact, posted an Instagram story Thursday morning to reply to the Mayor and say that he would no longer move to Corbetta.

“Dear Mayor, thanks for violating my privacy,” said the striker.

“Lucikly, I have no valuable objects; the only treasure I have is my sons’ safety, which is no longer guaranteed. I thought Corbetta would offer me privacy, but I am forced to change my home immediately due to your inability to use social media and protect your citizens.”
