With a 4-1 victory over Queens Park Rangers at home, Fulham have bounced back in the league and climbed up to third in the table. With another home match on the trot, Marco Silva will definitely look to strengthen their chances of a Premier League qualification with a positive outcome from the clash against the Welsh side.

The Cottagers boast the best attack in the division, scoring 27 goals this season from an accumulated xG of 27.20 the most among all the teams. Aleksander Mitrovic is in an absolutely miraculous goal-scoring form being the leading goal scorer in the league with 12 goals. He is certainly going to be the biggest threat in front of goal for them. However, Fulham have conceded 14 goals so far, failing to keep a clean sheet in any of their last five matches. This area can call for a bit of improvement in the squad.

Cardiff City has gradually lost their way in the league after a positive start to the campaign. They have slipped down to 20th position in the league with just 11 points to show for in 12 matches. The Welsh side has lost all of their five last matches and Mick McCarthy’ men face a huge challenge to get their season back on track to avoid a survival scare against a red hot Fulham. It is certainly not going to be an easy trip for the Bluebirds.

They have scored only 12 goals so far averaging one goal per match which is on the lower side of the league average. However, that has not been the case as they have scored only one goal in their last five matches conceding 14 in return out of the total 22 they have let in. Cardiff has clearly struggled in terms of goal scoring but their vulnerable defence has not come to their rescue either declining in form day by day.

The Cottagers record the most number of shots on target in the league with 73. They have been the most clinical and threatening team going forward without any doubt, able to create ample amounts of space to take shots. Up against a leaky Cardiff defence, the Fulham attackers are going to create havoc in attack if they are on song that day.

The Bluebirds do have a league average of 47 shots on target but have absolutely failed to take advantage of their chances, scoring just once in the last five outings. They certainly would not get the chance to dominate possession against Fulham and need to get the most out of their attacks if they dream of defeating Fulham anyhow.

Cardiff City have no players absent for the clash while the hosts will miss the injured Ivan Cavaleiro with Bobby Reid most likely to replace him. Anotonee Robinson can as well be back in the starting line up.

We predict a 4-0 win for the Londoners.
