Fulham are in talks with AC Milan over a possible deal to sign Samuel Chukwueze on Deadline Day.
Standard Sport understands the Nigeria international has emerged as a possible solution during the club’s hunt for a winger.
Fulham have been working on Deadline Day to find solutions on the right wing following an injury to Harry Wilson in the 1-0 defeat to Manchester United.
The return of Willian is also an option being discussed. The Brazilian is a free agent so can sign beyond Monday’s 11pm deadline.
Fulham, who are yet to make a signing during the winter window, are also keen to sign a right-back, with Kenny Tete injured ruled out until April.
Chukwueze has 38 caps for Nigeria and was part of the Nigeria squad that came second at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
The 25-year-old is a Villareal academy graduate and joined AC Milan in the summer of 2023. He won the 2020/21 Europa League with Villareal, when they beat Manchester United in the final on penalties.
