Fulham are lining up a January swoop for Fluminense midfielder Andre Trindade and Wolfsburg striker Jonas Wind, per the Evening Standard.

Andre has been impressive in the Brasileiro Serie A over the last two seasons. His performances have earned him a call-up to the Brazilian national team, where he is expected to continue for years.

His excellent displays in the league and Copa Libertadores have attracted the interest of European teams, and the holding midfielder is reportedly keen to move to the Premier League.

Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United have all shown interest in Andre, but Fulham have made the most concrete moves to secure his signature.

Fulham CEO Alistair Mackintosh travelled to Brazil last week to hold face-to-face talks. He was in the Maracana Stadium as Fluminense triumphed over Boca Juniors in the Copa Libertadores final.

Mackintosh is trying to seal a £30 million deal for Andre as Fulham look to bolster Marco Silva’s squad for the season ahead.

Another area the Cottagers will be desperate to strengthen is their forward line. They lost talisman Aleksandar Mitrovic this summer and have not adequately replaced him.

The signing of Raul Jimenez has not worked out, while Carlos Vinicius’ inconsistency continues to plague his game. Fulham are the second-lowest-scoring team in the Premier League, with only ten goals after 12 matches.

They desperately need a prolific centre-forward and have Wolfsburg hitman Wind on their target list.

After settling into the Bundesliga over the past two seasons following his move from FC Copenhagen, Wind has started this season in electrifying form for the Wolves, bagging eight goals and one assist in his 11 league outings.

The Danish international has been Wolfsburg’s talisman this season, and Fulham could approach the German club for his services as they look to bolster their struggling attack.
