AC Milan are one of the clubs interested in signing Sergej Milinkovic-Savic from Lazio in the summer window, according to a report.
Lazio are not having the best of seasons as they have again found themselves quite far adrift from the Champions League places, and the Serbian midfielder is attracting the interest from some top European clubs, at least as per Fichajes.net in Spain.
They report that Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus and Milan are the four clubs fighting to sign Milinkovic-Savic and reinforce the midfield department next summer. However, Lazio’s president Claudio Lotito will seek to make as much as possible from his sale having rejected €80m bids in the past.
Whether Elliott Management would sanction a big investment on a player who is entering his prime at 26 remains to be seen, but we do know that Milan will in all likelihood have to replace Franck Kessie and may go for a more creatively-minded player, such as Renato Sanches who has also been linked.
