Former Inter boss Andrea Stramaccioni backs Roma in Conference League

Former Inter and current Al Gharafa boss Andrea Stramaccioni backed Roma’s chances in the Conference League during an interview with Ansa.

Stramaccioni, 46, spent six years with the Giallorossi’s youth staff before being appointed as the new manager of Inter’s Primavera side in 2011.

“I think this is one of the most balanced seasons in Serie A in recent years,” he said.

“Milan seem to have found more continuity in their results but I still think Inter are best equipped to win the Scudetto.”

“Of course, Napoli are ready and right there in case either of the two makes a misstep. But Juventus is also gaining ground on everybody.”

He added, “As for Roma, they have everything to make it to the end of the Conference League.”
