Jordon Garrick is attracting interest this January transfer window, with Swansea City potentially set to field enquiries from Forest Green Rovers over his availability.

Garrick is currently on loan away from Swansea City at Lincoln City, but he has found game-time reduced as the season has worn on and there could now be room for him to move elsewhere.

Indeed, according to a report from Gloucestershire Live, Forest Green Rovers are taking a close look at him and have ‘significant interest’ in trying to bring him in.

Garrick is currently on a season-long loan deal at Lincoln City and so the Swans would have to recall him from the Imps before any deal with FGR can be agreed but, with the aforementioned lack of playing time in mind, you would think that that isn’t going to be much of an issue.

The Verdict

Garrick is a decent player and has lots to offer so he will be frustrated that his time at Lincoln is perhaps not going totally to plan.

That loss could lead to Forest Green Rovers’ gain, though, with them looking to add to their side ahead of a crucial period as they bid to clamber away from the foot of the third tier and to safety by the end of the season.
