Fonte: Arsenal fans should be excited about Vieira | OneFootball

Lille defender Jose Fonte is backing Fabio Vieira for big things at Arsenal.

Vieira moved to the Gunners from Porto earlier this week for a fee of €40m.

Speaking to talkSPORT, however, former West Ham and Southampton defender Fonte gave his verdict on the deal.

“He's a very exciting young player who is very talented on the ball and intelligent," said Fonte.

“Arsenal fans should be very excited because he's the sort of player that they'll like and I'm looking forward to seeing him in the Premier League."
