According to Bild, Borussia Mönchengladbach midfielder Florian Neuhaus will try to force a move away from the club if he does not start on Sunday in their game against Augsburg.

Neuhaus has become dissatisfied with his play time and has struggled to break into the midfield ahead of Rocco Reitz, Manu Koné and Julian Weigl this season.

With Weigl suspended and recently returning to training, Neuhaus could potentially start against Augsburg but if for some reason he does not then he will try to force a move away. This winter, a loan or a complete sale is not out of the question.

The 26-year-old was recently linked with a move away from Gladabch but other sources denied those. Neuhaus had signed a contract extension at the beginning of the season until 2027. Still, the reality of him seeing this out is slowly becoming unlikely unless his playing time changes under Gerardo Seaone.
