On Monday, Borussia Dortmund announced the acquisition of Swiss goalkeeper Gregor Kobel, purchasing the player from VFB Stuttgart for a fee of ā‚¬15m.

The Black and Yellow have long-term plans for the 23-year-old as they have signed the player through 2026.

The big, athletic goalkeeper ranked eighth in the Bundesliga in save percentage (67%) and saved two of the six penalties he faced, which will give Dortmund supporters plenty to get excited about heading into next season.
