Fiorentina Targeting Inter Milan, AC Milan & Parma Stars In Holding Midfield | OneFootball

Fiorentina are reportedly targeting the likes of Kristjan Asllani, Ismael Bennacer, and Adrian Bernabe in holding midfield.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews.

Fiorentina are in for another midfield rebuild this summer.

La Viola signed quite a few midfielders on loan last summer. However, they have not made these deals permanent.

Among the players who Fiorentina signed on loan last summer were Danilo Cataldi and Yacine Adli. However, they have returned to Lazio and AC Milan respectively.

Meanwhile, there is some uncertainty about the future of Rolando Mandragora considering his contract situation.

For this reason, holding midfield is one priority position for Fiorentina in the summer transfer window.

According to the Corriere dello Sport, there are a few names high on the Tuscan club’s shortlist.

One long-term target for Fiorentina is Inter midfielder Kristjan Asllani. And La Viola could reignite their interest in the Albanian to plug the hole they have at the base of midfield.

AC Milan midfielder Ismael Bennacer is another option. However, the Algerian’s wages would present an issue.

Then, reports the Corriere dello Sport, Parma midfielder Adrian Bernabe is also on Fiorentina’s radar. However, the Spaniard would command a hefty transfer fee.
