Fiorentina had two of their players in hospital over the last few days, but both Lucas Martinez Quarta and Christian Kouame have now been released.
The Viola were going through a rough time on the field and above all off it, with issues hitting two of their star men.
Martinez Quarta was ruled out of the Lazio match on Monday with an injury, but it has now been confirmed he was suffering from painful kidney stones.
The Argentina international was released from hospital yesterday to continue his recovery at home.
Kouame returned from winning the Africa Cup of Nations and was rushed to hospital after feeling unwell at home, where he was diagnosed with malaria.
He received treatment and was released back home, but requires another check-up before he can be given the all-clear to resume training with his teammates.
Kouame was in the crowd at the Stadio Franchi for Monday’s Serie A victory over Lazio and could be in the Conference League squad to face Maccabi Haifa next Thursday.
