Transfer News: Fiorentina want €30m for Manchester United linked Nikola Milenkovic

According to transfer news from SempreMilan, Fiorentina will demand €30m for Manchester United target Nikola Milenkovic. Along with United, West Ham, Spurs, Everton, Inter and AC Milan are also interested in the Serbian defender.

Milenkovic joined Fiorentina in 2017 and has become an indispensable first-team regular in recent years. He has so far made 130 appearances for La Viola, scoring 11 goals and assisting one more. (h/t Transfermarkt)

The Serbian ace is one of the best young defenders in the Italian top-flight. He has been on United’s radar for some time now and it might be time to make our move. The 23-year-old is set to enter the final year of his contract soon. With his deal expiring next year, the chances of him penning an extension seem remote.

Due to his contract running out in a year’s time, Fiorentina are looking at a sale. The Italian side are hoping to get around €30m for him in the summer so as to not lose him on a free in 2022. That might appeal to United who are looking at defensive options.
