In a surprising turn of events, Serie A side Fiorentina have accepted Bournemouth’s offer for Gaetano Castrovilli.
According to a report by Gianluca Di Marzio, Bournemouth have secured the signature of Gaetano Castrovilli. The player is set to leave Fiorentina tomorrow morning with medical examinations scheduled in England.
The Cherries are set to pay the Viola club a sum of €12 million plus bonuses as a transfer fee for the Italian midfielder. It is predicted that the Premier League outfits recently came up with their offer and it was convincing enough for the Italian side to respond within a short interval.
The 26-year-old has clocked over 150 appearances, including the Serie A and Serie B with teams like Fiorentina, Bari and Cremonese. He missed a considerable part of last season through a knee injury but featured in 26 matches, scoring four times and registering one assist across all competitions.
The transfer will be announced by both clubs as soon as Castrovilli signs the contract with Bournemouth following the completion of his medicals tomorrow.
