Juventus have been handed a slight injury concern regarding Serbia international Filip Kostić.
During the national team’s press conference on Sunday, manager Dragan Stojković provided an update on the 30-year-old confirming he has departed camp due to injury.
“Bad news for us, it’s about inflammation of the Achilles tendon,” he said.
“There is no need to take risks, the decision was to continue with the therapy at the club.”
Kostić played all 90 minutes against Lithuania, providing an assist in Serbia’s 2-0 win.
The news will be a concern for the Serie A giants as the midfielder is key to the club’s success this season.
Crunch games in the Coppa Italia semi-finals against Inter and Europa League quarter-finals against Sporting linger.
