Liverpool and Brazil star Alisson’s outstanding 2019 has seen him rewarded by scooping The Best goalkeeper award.
The former Roma man, who is currently sidelined through injury, picked up silverware this year for both club and country.
He won the Champions League and Copa América, while also keeping the most Premier League sheets last season with 21.
The other two names on the shortlist were international colleague Ederson and Barcelona star Marc-André ter Stegen.
Netherlands star Sari van Veenendaal took the trophy on the women’s side, having helped her country to the Women’s World Cup final.
In addition, she won the Golden Glove at the tournament and also enjoyed Women’s Super League success with Arsenal last season.
Christiane Endler and Hedvig Lindahl were the beaten finalists for that award.
