Anis Hadj Moussa appears increasingly close to leaving De Kuip. On Wednesday, Feyenoord Transfermarkt and journalist Santi Aouna both reported that the Feyenoord winger has reached a personal agreement with Benfica.
The 23-year-old Algerian Hadj Moussa has only been under contract in Rotterdam for a year, as last summer, Feyenoord paid €3.5 million to Belgian second-tier club Patro Eisden for his services. His contract runs until the summer of 2029.
A verbal agreement is reportedly already in place between Hadj Moussa and Benfica, although the latter has not yet officially contacted general manager Dennis te Kloese. Feyenoord are already aware of Hadj Moussa’s intention to leave.
In his first season at Feyenoord, Hadj Moussa helped the team win the Johan Cruyff Shield, while in 43 official matches, he scored 11 goals and provided five assists.
