De Telegraaf reports that Feyenoord want to sign Arnaut Danjuma on a season-long loan from Villarreal. The Eredivisie champions have identified the 26-year-old winger as a possible replacement for Oussama Idrissi, who spent last season on loan at Feyenoord from Sevilla.

Danjuma has spent the last six months on loan at Tottenham Hotspur. The forward featured 12 times in all competitions for Spurs, scoring twice. Danjuma’s Champions League experience would help Feyenoord progress in next season’s tournament.

Arnaut Danjuma kicked off his career in PSV’s academy before moving to NEC Nijmegen. A transfer to Club Brugge followed in 2018, and his impressive performances earned him a move to AFC Bournemouth in the Premier League. In 2021 Villareal paid over €20m for the winger, and in total, he scored 22 goals in 51 appearances for the Spanish side.

Feyenoord aren’t the only club eyeing a move for Arnaut Danjuma. Several top European sides are also interested in the Dutchman. Now, an opportunity to return to the Netherlands is open for the player. Head coach Arne Slot is a big fan of the forward and sees him as the perfect fit for his Feyenoord side.
