It was one-way traffic from the opening whistle, as Barcelona dominated the ball and the control of the game from the start.
They were rewarded for their efforts inside 15 minutes when Fermín Lopez snatched his first of the night to silence the home crowd.
It was a slow-paced game in the 30 minutes after, but past the hour mark Fermín doubled his and Barcelona’s tally on the night to all but ensure the three points.
Almería did fashion a few chances of their own, but the already-relegated side were wasteful in front of goal.
