Aston Villa are leading the chase for Fenebahce striker Vedat Muriqi but will have to pay €35m to lure him away from the Turkish giants.
Muriqi is enjoying a superb campaign in the Super Lig, netting 12 times in 20 appearances with the Istanbul side currently sitting in sixth place.
A host of top European clubs have been linked with the 25-year-old, including Lazio, Monaco and Leicester.
But it’s Villa who are thought to be at the head of the queue for his signature this summer, with the Birmingham Mail saying that Dean Smith’s side have already been in touch about a potential deal at the end of the season.
Fener have quoted an asking price of €35m, which Villa are thought to be willing to pay but only if they stay in the Premier League come May.
The Midlands outfit are currently 17th, just a point above West Ham in the final relegation place.
