Turkish side Fenerbahçe are believed to be close to an agreement with Bologna over the signing of Argentine midfielder Nicolas Dominguez.
The 25 year old midfielder has just a year left on his deal with the Rossoblu so the club appear keen on cashing in on the player so that they don’t lose him for free next summer. Alfredo Pedulla revealed this afternoon that the player himself is yet to fully give the green light over the move to Turkey which could perhaps lead to the move hitting the buffers. But Fener are keen on meeting the Rossoblu’s financial demands for the player and they will soon increase their offer.
Dominguez has featured 109 times for Bologna, netting five times and his solid performances have seen him receive international recognition as he was part of the Argentine squad that won the World Cup last December.
Should he make the move to Turkey, he would follow in the footsteps of the likes of Nicolo Zaniolo, Dries Mertens and Joao Pedro, who have swapped Serie A for the chance to play in the Turkish Super Lig.
