Federico Dimarco’s chances of staying at Inter this season are increasing with each day that passes, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Nerazzurri view the full-back as ‘unsellable’, despite reports linking him with moves to Cagliari, Bologna, Torino and Hellas Verona in recent weeks.

Dimarco will most likely be Antonio Conte’s third choice on the left-hand side of his 3-5-2 system, behind Kwadwo Asamoah and potentially Cristiano Biraghi.

The 21-year-old’s age and homegrown status mean he can play both in Serie A and in the Champions League without occupying someone else’s spot in Conte’s squad list.

Dimarco made 13 appearances for Parma last season as Roberto D’Aversa’s side preserved their top-flight status on the penultimate weekend.

His greatest moment of the campaign against Inter at San Siro, when he scored a spectacular late goal to secure a 1-0 win for the Ducali.

Dimarco has only played seven minutes of football for Inter’s first team, having graduated from their academy in 2016.

Roberto Mancini brought him on during a Europa League match against Qarabag in December 2014, before giving him another brief cameo against Empoli six months later.
