The Azzurri take on Portugal in the Nations League on Saturday before a Tuesday friendly with USA but will be without the Bianconeri wideman.

While fit enough to be on the bench for Juve’s 2-0 win over Milan, Bernadeschi is understood to have pulled up in training on Tuesday.

“Federico Bernardeschi has left the training camp at Coverciano,” read a statement released by the FIGC.

“The Juventus player will miss the matches with Portugal and the United States because of an adductor injury and in the next few hours he will return to his club to undergo the necessary treatment.”

Sassuolo’s Domenico Berardi is expected to be the man to replace him.
