According to regional newspaper Express, Bundesliga side FC Köln have rejected an opening offer of €8 million from Lyon for midfielder Ellyes Skhiri.
French side Lyon are expected to return with an improved offer with FC Köln holding out for a fee closer to their valuation of €15m.

Skhiri joined the Bundesliga side from Montpellier for €6m in 2019 and has played 70 games in all competitions, becoming an important member of the squad playing as the No. 6.
