Fabrizio Romano says player has ‘completely opened doors’ to join Chelsea as his priority | OneFootball

Wow. This one is moving and it seems to be really moving fast and heating up now after Fabrizio Romano’s latest updates on it.

It’s a situation where Chelsea often find themselves in during a transfer window, especially the long summer window we are in currently.

The Blues will often get into a transfer saga of some sort where Romano will be out here dropping little updates every few hours sometimes!

This one isn’t really a saga yet as it appears that only Chelsea are really trying for him, for now anyway, but it’s certainly one that has seen a lot of Romano updates over the last 24 hours!

I am of course talking about Chelsea’s attempts to sign Xavi Simons from RB Leipzig this summer window.

Even Matt Law of The Telegraph had a very positive Simons to Chelsea update out this morning saying how Simons is more likely to want to join Chelsea over Arsenal, which of course is great news for Blues fans.

And Romano himself had already put his very positive update out on Simons to Chelsea earlier today, signaling that the player had already said he is keen to join Chelsea.

And further to this, Romano has put out some more updates on Simons to Chelsea today and you can safely say that these updates are even more positive than he last ones and it’s only been the space of a few hours between them!

Romano said:

“Xavi Simons has COMPLETELY OPENED DOORS TO CHELSEA as his priority now.

“Club to club talks are set to start SOON.”

So as I said, this one seems to be seriously moving now and I don’t think Romano is even jumping the gun on it either.
