Nottingham Forest continued a winning start to their FA Women’s National League Northern Premier Division campaign.

Nottingham Forest are the only side in the Northern Premier on maximum points from two games, while Newcastle United’s delayed start was winning one at Fylde. Wolves drew at Burnley, after Leah Embley’s opener was soon cancelled out by Anna Morphet’s spectacular free-kick. Stourbridge picked up their first-ever point at this level when sharing six goals at Halifax, Katie Anderson got the decider as Liverpool Feds edged Derby County 3-2.

Sporting Khalsa’s 2-0 win at Solihull Moors left them as the one Midlands Division side still with a 100% record. Lincoln City substitute Cassie Steward grabbed a 94th-minute leveller at Leek Town.

Barnsley, Hull City and Leeds United are a Yorkshire one-two-three at the top of Division 1 North, all with six points from two games, Helen Lynskey netting a treble for the Tigresses. Mel Ball got the sole goal as Chorley edged York City, Jess Gillin contributing similarly for Stockport County at Durham Cestria.

Six-goal Ashford Town lead the South East on six points aided by an Alissa Down hat-trick, Norwich City drew with London Seaward with the sides second and third respectively. There were winning starts for Worthing and AFC Wimbledon, Becki Bath scoring four for the former, the latter after a 5-3 London derby win over QPR at Plough Lane.
