š FA Cup: Arsenal win big; City and Spurs through; United crash out

With the Womenās Super League season over, all attention turned to the Womenās FA Cup.
The Fifth Round kicked off on Sunday with seven fixtures taking place.
Here is how everything unfolded.
Scorers: Little (P) 6ā², Mead 42ā², Van de Donk 45ā², Maritz 62ā², 88ā², Nobbs 70ā², Miedema 77ā², Roord 86ā², McCabe 90ā²
In the final FA Cup fixture of the day, Arsenal hosted Crystal Palace and took control quickly.
A penalty from captain Kim Little handed the hosts a 1-0 lead for most of the first half until Beth Mead and Daniƫlle van de Donk made it 3-0 right before the break.
The hosts didnāt let up in the second half and the Gunners launched their attack forward.
Goals from Noƫlle Maritz, Jordan Nobbs Vivianne Miedema, Jill Roord, Katie McCabe and a second for Martiz capped off a thumping 9-0 win.

It was a tight contest between Tottenham and Sheffield United over at The Hive Stadium.
The hosts were on the attacking front with the likes of Cho So hyun and Kit Graham leading the way in the first half.
The breakthrough, however, came at the hands of Lucy Quinn who put the ball in the top corner for a 1-0 lead.
After the break, Sheffield United continued to push for an equaliser and Lucy Watson made it 1-1 with 10 minutes to go.
As the match went into extra-time, Grahamās bullet header went on to send Spurs into the next round.

In a fixture pitting two WSL sides against one another, Manchester City hosted West Ham at Manchester City Academy Stadium.
The hosts took the lead through none other than Ellen White but it wouldnāt last for long as Anouk Denton equalised for the visitors a few seconds later.
City then looked to turn the tie back in their favour and White teed up Janine Beckie to make it 2-1 just before the break.
The visitors pushed for another equaliser but eventually, goals from Rose Lavelle, Sam Mewis and Lauren Hemp secured the victory.

Birmingham City maintained control of most of their match against Southampton at Damson Park.
Goals from Mollie Green, Emily Murphy and Sarah Mayling saw the hosts hold a 3-0 lead up until late in the second half.
With about five minutes left to play, Southampton pushed to try and pull off a late comeback.
Two goals in two minutes from Ella Morris and Ella Pusey threatened the hostsā lead but in the end, the visitors fall just short.

It was a one-sided affair at The Peopleās Pension Stadium as Brighton and Hove Albion hosted Huddersfield Town.
Goals from Nora Heroum, Rianna Jarret and an own-goal secured the hosts a 3-0 lead at the break.
Coming out into the second, Brighton got right back to business and goals from Felicity Gibbons and Danique Kerkdijk capped off a comfortable victory.

It was a thriller at Leigh Sports Village as Manchester United hosted Leicester City.
It took up to the half-hour mark for either side to find a breakthrough as Jess Sigsworth made it 1-0 for the hosts.
The visitors, however, were not letting up that easily and Shannon OāBrien equalised seconds before the break.
In the second half, Jane Ross turned the tie back in Unitedās favour until two goals in two minutes from Hannah Cain and Natasha Flint saw Leicester pull off a comeback win.

Neither side could find a breakthrough during the first half at The County Ground.
Charlton goalkeeper Ertha Cumings was called into action multiple times as Blackburnās Emma Doyle, Saffron Jordan and Georgia Walters saw attempts fall short.
Deadlocked at halftime, everything was on the line in the final 45 minutes.
Eventually, Jess King slotted the ball home late in the match to send Charlton to the next round.
Chelsea will host Everton at Kingsmeadow on 20 May for the final Fifth Round fixture.
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic pausing part of the season, the final three rounds will take place in the 2021-22 campaign with the quarter-finals kicking off on 29 September.
