According to Onze Mondial, Lyon attacking midfielder Rayan Cherki (20) could be set for a potential transfer to the Premier League this summer. There has been great speculation around the OL academy graduate’s future this summer.

Borussia Dortmund looked set to complete a transfer to sign Cherki. However, a late U-turn from the Bundesliga club saw the deal collapse. Fellow Bundesliga club RB Leipzig have also been linked with a move for the creative midfielder to replace Dani Olmo who has joined Barcelona. However, they have recruited other targets to replace the EURO 2024 winner.  Lyon are forced to make sales before the end of the summer after a productive transfer window which has seen 8 new arrivals at the Groupama Stadium. The 20-year-old could be one of the names at the top of that list.

Get French Football News understands that the France U21 international has been learning English in anticipation of a potential transfer this summer. With Premier League clubs reportedly interested, Cherki could be well equipped to swap Ligue 1 for the English top flight.
