Among the other contents of the final issue of the campaign is a bumper historical section, increased in size for 2023/24. Club Historian Paul Joannou provides four pages, as does regular UNITED columnist Stan Gate, who brings all sorts of black and white memorabilia back to light. There’s the final chapter of The European Years – looking back at the Magpies’ exploits in the 2012/13 Europa League – as well as the closing instalments of The Poster Boys and When Worlds Collide, the latter shining a light on a couple of both clubs’ lesser-remembered players.

Elsewhere, ahead of Mental Health Awareness Week, there’s a long, revealing read with Newcastle United Women’s Amber-Keegan Stobbs. There’s also a five-page youth team section, including interviews with Joe Brayson – the son of former Magpies striker Paul – and Mark Bertram, who’s now working at the club’s academy.

Furthermore, there’s ten dedicated pages on our visitors to SJP, three more for Junior Magpies, Pete Graves’ final column of the season and Matt Ritchie’s thoughts ahead of the game.

UNITED will be on sale around the ground, priced at £3.50.
