Zlatan Ibrahimović continues to expand his horizons in his post-playing career. The Swede is currently an advisor with AC Milan and is entering a new project as the president of the Kings World Cup.
For those who are unaware, the Kings League is a seven-a-side football league based in Barcelona, founded in 2022 by Gerard Piqué in collaboration with other prominent football figures and internet streamers.
A few days ago, the first World Cup in Kings League history was announced. The former Paris Saint-Germain striker will help oversee it. The event will take place in Mexico from May 26th to June 8th, and 32 teams will participate.
Ten will come from the Kings League Spain, ten from the Americas, and the remaining will be invited from other countries. These will be revealed in the coming weeks.
Ibrahimović joins a constellation of stars from the streaming world and football, joining the Kings League universe alongside Neymar, Sergio Agüero, and Iker Casillas.
