Former coach Andrea Stramaccioni feels that Inter Milan “deserved a draw” after their 1-2 Serie A loss to Udinese.
Stramaccioni gave his thoughts on the match to Italian broadcaster DAZN, via FCInterNews.
Yesterday evening Inter Milan experienced an early and major setback in their Serie A season.
Whereas everything had gone right for the Nerazzurri in their win against Torino on opening day, there were few positives from the team’s performance yesterday.
From errors and sloppy play at the back to a lack of physicality in midfield, Inter looked hapless in the first half after they’d gone ahead in the first half.
Then in the second half, the Nerazzurri chased the game. There was no lack of intensity, but little in the way of precision from Inter’s attack.

Former Inter coach Andrea Stramaccioni commented after the match that “Udinese came to the San Siro having prepared to play an intelligent game.”
“They prevented Inter from creating opportunities,” he added.
Stramaccioni then argued that Udinese “dominated the midfield.”
Meanwhile, Stramaccino argued that “after Inter went 1-0 up, I saw a drop in intensity from them.”
“In the second half, though, the team had the right attitude. They dominated, and they would have deserved an equalizer.”
