The 18-year-old made the breakthrough into the senior squad last season. Weir came off the bench to make her debut as Everton won 4-0 at third tier side Huddersfield Town in the fourth round of the Vitality Women’s FA Cup.
The youngster was an unused substitute on nine occasions in last season’s Barclays Women’s Super League. Weir is still awaiting her league debut for The Blue Girls, although it is only a matter of time before she records that landmark.
After signing her new deal with Everton, Weir said “I am really happy. It is a club I have been at for a while now and it is a club I love.
“My dad obviously played and captained the team, and it has been a club that I have grown up with.
“He helps me and he has got experience with the Club and how football works, but my whole family are so supportive.
“It has been a dream come true.”
Weir has joined Megan Finnigan, Courtney Brosnan, Rikke Sevecke and Nicoline Sørensen in signing on again with Everton this summer.
