Scorers: Jebbison 7′.

Everton were stunned 1-0 by already-relegated Sheffield United as the Toffees’ Europa League qualification ambitions were dealt a massive blow.

17-year-old Daniel Jebbison was on hand to tap in Jack Robinson’s low drive across goal in the seventh minute to bag his first goal for the club and the only strike of the match.

It was another lacklustre Goodison Park performance from Everton, who have now lost eight times at home this season, and another outing where they failed to create too many goalscoring opportunities.

Aaron Ramsdale did produce a stunning double save to keep out Richarlison’s header and Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s follow-up from close range at the end of the first half.

But Carlo Ancelotti’s men remain in eighth, three points behind Tottenham Hotspur who occupy sixth place.

West Brom 1-2 Liverpool

Scorers: Robson-Kanu 15′; Salah 33′, Alisson 90+4

Goalkeeper Alisson Becker SCORED a dramatic last-minute winner to keep Liverpool’s hopes of qualifying for the Champions League alive.

The hosts stormed into a surprise lead after Matheus Pereira played through Hal Robson-Kanu who placed the ball past Alisson into the bottom corner.

But Mohamed Salah was on hand to level proceedings for Jürgen Klopp’s side with a curled effort from the edge of the box after 33 minutes.

Roberto Firmino almost turned the game around immediately but his shot from just inside the area struck the outside of the post.

The Baggies had a goal ruled out for a contentious offside when Kyle Bartley turned in Semi Ajay’s knock-down from a corner but the linesman had deemed Matt Phillips to be affecting Alisson’s sight while in an offside position.

Trent Alexander-Arnold missed a golden opportunity from close range in the dying minutes when he spurned a left-footed shot over the bar as the Reds searched for that pivotal winner, before substitute Gini Wijnaldum curled just wide in the last minute.

It was left to their keeper Alisson who nodded home Alexander-Arnold’s corner to earn a crucial three points for Jürgen Klopp’s side in unbelievable circumstances.

Liverpool have now moved to within a point of fourth-placed Chelsea with two games to go.

Tottenham 2-0 Wolves

Scorers: Kane 45′, Højbjerg 62′

Tottenham kept their hopes of a European place alive with a deserved victory over Wolves on Sunday afternoon.

After hitting the post early on (a familiar theme in this one), Harry Kane got get his goal just before half-time, when he latched onto Pierre-Emile Højbjerg’s ball in behind the Wolves defence and rounded Rui Patricio to score.

The Tottenham captain almost doubled their lead but his shot was tipped on to the post by Patricio before Dele Alli struck the opposite post on the rebound.

Moments later, they made sure of their win when Højbjerg reacted first to the rebound to Gareth Bale’s effort to poke home his second league goal of the season.

Spurs move above West Ham into sixth place, with the London rivals level on points with two games remaining.

Crystal Palace 3-2 Aston Villa

Scorers: Benteke 32′, Zaha 75′, Mitchell 84′; McGinn 17′, El Ghazi 34′

Crystal Palace came back from 2-1 down to beat Aston Villa in a thoroughly entertaining game to begin the day.

Villa made a bright start at Selhurst Park, and they went in front when John McGinn slotted in brilliantly off the post from outside the area after 17 minutes.

But that goal woke the hosts up and they soon equalised, with Christian Benteke rising high to head home from Tyrick Mitchell’s cross.

Villa soon went back in front, however, when McGinn’s cross found its way to Anwar El Ghazi via the head of Ollie Watkins, and the Dutch winger finished well past Jack Butland.

Palace equalised again 15 minutes from time though. Eberechi Eze found Wilfried Zaha out on the right and the winger cut inside before unleashing a shot that went in off Ahmed Elmohamady.

Eze then almost made it 3-2 to Palace when he rattled the crossbar with a stunning effort from outside the area.

But moments later it was 3-2, when the Villa defence were unable to clear their lines, and Eze’s miscued effort was chested in by Mitchell ghosting in at the back post.

That win moves the Eagles up to 13th in the table while Villa remain 11th.
